Ananya Panday has sort of became synonymous with the term ‘struggle’ in Bollywood, thanks to her statements during a roundtable conversation. Well, she has, unfortunately, been a hot topic of trolls and memes since then. And the actress’ latest Filmfare win for the Best Actress Debut honour has only added to the mess. Earlier in the day, it was announced that Ananya Panday and south sensation Vijay Deverakonda will be starring in Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming Pan-India film. While this was delightful news for all Ananya and Vijay fans, some netizens couldn’t help but bring Ananya’s struggles in between.

As soon as Ananya and Vijay disclosed the news, a section of Twitterati trolled the duo in a context to struggling. While some asked Vijay to make Ananya struggle a bit, many weren’t really pleased with the idea of Ananya’s south debut. “Ananyaa, And we warmly welcome you to the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam industries,” wrote Vijay as he welcomed Ananya to the south film industry. His comments section, however, was majorly about ‘struggles’.

We came across comments like, “Oh the most struggled star,” “Hey plse don't cast her vijay,” “Sorry Vijay . You deserve better,” “After struggling for Koffee with Karan,” “Finally #AnanyaPanday ka struggle kaam aa gaya,” “Struggler getting ahead now,” “udhar hi struggle karao isse,” “No.. We don't need shit to enter our golden film industry. Her struggles are so horrible we don't want her or her father in our south movies. Pls stay out,” “Bhai movie mein queen ananya ka role utna he rakhna jitna inki life mein struggle hai . Waiting for this one.”
